The Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology at Assumption University proudly organized the Alumni Talk Series to strengthen alumni engagement and inspire current students. The program invites alumni from diverse industries to return and share their professional experiences, insights into business and innovation, as well as updates on new trends and technologies. By connecting real-world practices with classroom learning, the series motivates students to see how their studies can shape future careers and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Activities in Academic Year 2024 featured several highlights, including a special lecture by Ms. Thanatcha Janngam, Brand Ambassador and Chef R&D at Eric Kayser Thailand Co., Ltd., who spoke on “The Journey of a Global Food Scientist.” Other distinguished alumni included Ms. Phatthranit Rungsitsathien, QFS & Regulatory Affairs Manager at SPF DIANA (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who shared insights on “What is Palatability for Pet Food,” Ms. Patteera Chanapongpisan, International Product and Business Development Manager at REVOMED GROUP Co., Ltd., who presented “Global Trends in Functional Food Supplements & Cosmetics. and Mr. Nateepat Pitinidhipat, Co-Founder of Van Hart Coffee, who conducted a hands-on workshop on the “Coffee Cupping Test.”
Through these sessions, students gained valuable exposure to real-world perspectives, innovative ideas, and professional pathways, reinforcing the strong connection between AU’s academic excellence and industry leadership.
