VMES, Assumption University proudly hosted the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Workforce Development Program, conducted in collaboration with Wefly Aero and sponsored by the Thai Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI). The program officially opened on August 19, 2024, at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel.
The program aims to enhance Thailand’s aircraft maintenance workforce by providing training in Aircraft Mechanics: Airplanes (Level 3–5), in accordance with professional and international standards, including the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) guidelines. The initiative addresses the global shortage of skilled aircraft maintenance technicians, projected to reach over 500,000 personnel worldwide in 2024 by major aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus.
