On July 4, 2024, Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), Assumption University, organized a field trip to Rayong for students enrolled in the B.B.A. in Sustainable Business Management (SBM) program. The trip was coordinated by Dr. Aya Fukushige and A. Kitima Pongsatha, with support from Dr. Ximan Zong, and included 23 students from China, Japan, and Thailand.

During the day-long excursion, students gained practical insights into sustainable business practices through visits to:

  • Envicco Co., Ltd., learning about corporate environmental management initiatives
  • GC Chemical Experience Museum, exploring sustainable innovations in chemical production
  • PTT LNG Flora Exhibition Hall, understanding energy efficiency and sustainable logistics

The experience provided students with a holistic understanding of integrating social responsibility, ethical practices, and sustainable management into real-world business operations. It also highlighted how businesses can contribute to environmental stewardship and community well-being.
