BLNS Experts Lead Research-Focused In-Service Training at Vejthani Hospital

November 18–19, 2024 — In a significant step toward advancing nursing research and clinical practice, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyaphat Setchoduk and Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriporn Poonruksa from the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) served as guest speakers at an in-service training hosted by Vejthani Hospital.

The training, held at the Sai-Yud Convention Hall, 8th Floor, Vejthani Hospital, was approved by the Center for Continuing Nursing Education under the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council. It brought together 60 professional nurses seeking to enhance their ability to integrate research into daily nursing practice. The initiative was led by Ms. Pranom Tiyao, Inpatient Director of Nursing at Vejthani Hospital, who emphasized the importance of innovative approaches to solving clinical challenges.

The program aimed to strengthen research capacity, foster evidence-based practice, and promote professional development among practicing nurses. Participants engaged in interactive sessions and case-based discussions to apply research findings directly to patient care.
