BLNS Promotes Student Health and Community Partnership at Klong Kaja School

On December 2 and 18, 2024, the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS), Assumption University of Thailand (AU), conducted health assessments and consultations for fifth and sixth-grade students at Klong Kaja (Pongsombat-Bumrung) School, a partner institution under an MOU with AU.

The initiative, led by Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Chairperson of the Academic Committee, together with Dr. Chavalee Boonto, Dr. Prapawan Praevanich, and Dr. Naree Achwarin, in collaboration with Mrs. Naraporn Thongchai, Head of Academic Department at Klong Kaja School, provided comprehensive screenings and personalized consultations.

The program aimed to:

  • Conduct early health screenings for students
  • Strengthen the partnership between BLNS and Klong Kaja School
  • Offer BLNS faculty practical experience in real-world healthcare delivery

Dr. Bhusiri emphasized, “Our collaboration with Klong Kaja School reflects AU’s mission to extend knowledge and care beyond our campus. It’s rewarding to support young learners’ health while fostering stronger community ties.”
