AU Education Students Engage in Global Dialogue on Equity and Inclusion

Students from the Graduate School of Human Sciences, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) participated in the CU-KU International Symposium in Education 2025, held on July 8, 2025, at Chulalongkorn University, under the theme “Inclusive Society: Innovating for an Inclusive and Equitable Future.” The symposium brought together educators, scholars, and students from across the region to exchange ideas on how education can promote inclusion, equity, and stronger communities.

AU was represented by students from the Educational Administration and Leadership (EAL), Curriculum and Instruction (CI), and English Language Teaching (ELT) programs. Accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Poonpilas Asavisanu, Program Director of the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and Dr. Nathara Mhunpiew, the students actively participated in discussions, exchanged perspectives, and learned from educators and scholars from different backgrounds.

The symposium provided AU students with an opportunity to connect academic knowledge with real-world educational challenges, particularly issues related to inclusive policies, equal opportunities, and equitable learning environments. The experience also strengthened their understanding of the role of educators and educational leaders in driving positive social change.

Through participation in international academic forums, AU continues to prepare future educators with the knowledge, global perspectives, and commitment needed to contribute to more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable societies.
