On December 12, 2024, the opening ceremony of the 8th Architecture & Design Exhibition 2024, organized by the Council of Deans of Architecture Schools of Thailand (CDAST), took place at the Southern Art and Culture Center, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. The exhibition runs until January 12, 2025, and highlights outstanding architectural and design works from across the country.
Faculty members from the School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University (AAU) proudly presented five selected projects in two categories:
Architecture Projects
- Bike Station Showroom – by Asst. Prof. Suparat Walaiseatean, Department of Architecture.
- The Refine Exclusivity: Unforgettable Elegance Design, The Emerald Hotel Bangkok – by Lecturer Orn-laor Homsethee, Department of Interior Architecture.
Design / Art Projects
- Hyper Frame: Interactive Light and Sound Installation – by Lecturer Natthaphon Supavong, Department of Architecture.
- Sa-Ti: Awakening Festivals Chiangmai – by Lecturer Apinantayad Bua-iam, Department of Interior Design.
- Packaging Design for Jewelry from Clay – by Dr. Ananya Krannasut, Department of Product Design.
This exhibition underscores the School’s commitment to promoting innovative and sustainable design practices, bridging academic knowledge with real-world applications, and fostering creativity that contributes to cultural and social development.
