Assumption University and Tunghai University Launch Dual Master’s Degree Program to Foster Global Academic Collaboration

On May 2, 2025, Assumption University (AU), represented by Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, President of AU, and Tunghai University (THU), represented by Dr. Kuo-En Chang, President of THU, proudly announced the launch of a dual master’s degree program. The program combines AU’s Master of Science in Business and Economics (MSBE) with THU’s Executive MBA (EMBA) to provide students with a globally enriched educational experience.

During the launch, Distinguished Contribution Awards were presented by Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean-Designate of MSME, to Dr. Kuo-En Chang and Mr. Sheng-Hsiung “Rock” Hsu, founder of Cal-Comp, in recognition of their visionary leadership in education and industry.

This partnership signifies a major milestone in academic collaboration between Thailand and Taiwan, reflecting the shared commitment to academic excellence, internationalization, and cross-cultural talent development.
