On January 13–14, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) organized the Lex Humanitas Camp 2024 at Wat Lamud School in Ang Thong Province. This volunteer initiative brought together law students and faculty members in a meaningful effort to contribute to the local community.
Over the course of two days, participants engaged in a variety of activities designed to improve the school environment and enhance students’ educational experiences. A key initiative was school beautification, where volunteers repainted sidewalks and school walls, transforming the campus into a more vibrant and welcoming space for young learners.
Beyond physical improvements, the camp also emphasized educational enrichment, particularly in English language learning. Law students and faculty conducted interactive activities—such as games, storytelling, and conversational practice—that helped schoolchildren strengthen their English skills in a fun and engaging way.
The Lex Humanitas Camp 2024 embodied the spirit of community service and legal education beyond the classroom, instilling a sense of social responsibility, teamwork, and empathy in law students. The experience left a lasting impact on both the AU participants and the students and teachers at Wat Lamud School, reinforcing the importance of education and collaboration in building stronger communities.
