| Assumption University of Thailand (AU), Hua-Mak Campus, April 26, 2025 — The Thomas Aquinas School of Law, in collaboration with the Innotech Center, successfully hosted the seminar “AI for Legal Profession,” exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the legal field. The event drew legal professionals, academics, students, and technology experts eager to learn how AI is reshaping legal practice.
The one-day seminar provided participants with insights on AI applications in contract drafting, legal research, litigation strategy, and data analysis through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations. Speakers included Dr. Norarit Sudsanguan, Dean of the Thomas Aquinas School of Law; Mr. Sathapon Patanakuha, CEO of Smart Contract Blockchain Studio; Mr. Thasanai Chaiyakhwaeng, litigation lawyer and legal tech advocate; and Miss Suruswadee Jaimsuwan, senior litigator at Tilleke & Gibbins. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of AI as a tool to empower legal professionals, making legal work smarter, faster, and more impactful. The seminar inspired participants to embrace AI in their careers, recognizing it as a transformative force rather than a replacement for human expertise. Following the event’s success, AU plans to expand AI-focused legal training programs to further support innovation in the legal sector. Relevant SDGs:
