Aviation and Engineering Workshop Inspires Future Innovators at Assumption University

On March 12, 2025, students from Assumption College Rayong participated in an engaging aviation and engineering workshop at Assumption University of Thailand (AU), Suvarnabhumi Campus. The program offered hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology and flight simulation.

Organized by AU’s Office of the University Registrar in collaboration with Bangkok Aviation Center (BAC), Thailand’s first private flying school, the event provided students with comprehensive insights into aviation education and career pathways. The day’s agenda included an introduction to AU’s Aviation Course, an overview of BAC’s pilot training programs, and a Simulator and Aircraft Workshop at the Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology (VMES).

Through interactive sessions with faculty members and industry experts, students gained valuable exposure to real-world applications in aeronautical engineering and piloting. The hands-on experience not only broadened their perspectives on aviation but also encouraged them to explore future opportunities in engineering, technology, and related fields.

This initiative reflects AU’s commitment to fostering innovation, academic excellence, and career readiness, inspiring students to become future leaders in aviation and beyond.
