Energy and the Environmental Conservation Activities in Bang Bo – Bang Sao Thong District Schools 2024

The Institute for Research and Academic Services (IRAS), Assumption University implemented the Energy Conservation and Environmental Awareness Project at Klong Sabaadjak School, emphasizing community engagement through education. The project promotes knowledge, understanding, and environmental consciousness among students.

Key Activities:

  1. Energy and Environmental Awareness Workshop (27 September 2024) – Students learned practical methods of energy conservation, 3R waste reduction, and proper waste segregation. Interactive games, quizzes with prizes, and group brainstorming encouraged participation and creative thinking.
  2. Recycled Material Invention Competition (5 September 2024) – Students transformed waste and leftover materials into useful products, promoting creativity, reducing waste, conserving resources, and creating value.
  3. Consultation on Energy Conservation Campaign Materials (28 March 2025) – The IRAS team, with the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, guided the school in designing campaign materials displayed on campus to foster awareness, behavioral change, and cost savings.
