The Department of General Education, Faculty of Arts, Assumption University, successfully hosted a special lecture titled “Tips for Mindfulness Practice” for students : Love and Arts of Living on Monday, 19 August 2024, at Wiset Si Samut, CL Lobby.The lecture, led by Dr. Vichuda Sthalanand, a distinguished expert with over 40 years of experience in meditation practices, offered students profound insights and practical strategies to enhance both academic success and personal well-being. Students were introduced to effective mindfulness techniques for managing stress, improving focus, and cultivating a positive mindset.A highlight of the session was a 40-minute concentration practice, giving students the rare opportunity to directly experience mindfulness under the guidance of a leading expert. This hands-on approach ensured that the benefits extended beyond the classroom, aligning seamlessly with the course objectives.This lecture not only enriched the students’ academic journey but also reflected AU’s dedication to nurturing life skills that empower students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
