Seeds of Innovation: Indonesian Students Explore Food Biotechnology at AU

On January 22, 2026, the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed faculty members and students from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Indonesia, for an academic visit focused on food innovation, research, and international collaboration.

The visit aimed to strengthen academic cooperation in teaching, education, and research. The delegation attended presentations on AU’s academic programs, explored food biotechnology and innovation activities, and exchanged ideas on future academic collaboration.

The program also provided opportunities for students from both institutions to connect across cultures, exchange academic perspectives, and gain international learning experiences. The visit reaffirmed AU’s commitment to developing globally minded graduates and strengthening its role as a regional hub for innovation-driven education and international academic partnerships.
