MSME Students Turn Recycled Plastic Bottles into Sustainable Community Products

On August 23, 2025, students and faculty from the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), Assumption University of Thailand (AU) visited the Environmental Conservation Community Enterprise Group in Pathum Thani as part of the Youth Volunteer Project 2025, supported by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

Under the project “Development of Broom Products from Recycled Bottles,” the initiative focuses on transforming used plastic bottles into useful and marketable cleaning products while generating income for the local community.

During the visit, AU students worked closely with community members to identify development needs, particularly in public relations, branding, and online marketing. Students supported the community by developing promotional strategies for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, as well as creating brochures, an X-stand, and vinyl banners to strengthen the enterprise’s brand identity and market visibility.

The project provided students with valuable hands-on experience in sustainable entrepreneurship, marketing, communication, and community development, while helping the local enterprise increase the value of recycled materials and strengthen its economic potential.
