AU Earth Hero Inspires Young Conservationists Through Hands-On Learning

Assumption University of Thailand (AU), through the Institute for Research and Academic Services (IRAS), Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, and Student Affairs, collaborated with Pag Klong Chuad Yai School to organize “AU Earth Hero,” an engaging program promoting energy conservation and environmental responsibility among young students.

The activity introduced students to the principles of the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—and encouraged simple energy-saving and waste-reduction practices through interactive learning. A highlight was the “3R Adventure Station – Trash-Cutting Quest,” where students worked in teams to apply environmental knowledge through games, problem-solving, and hands-on activities.

To encourage continued action beyond the event, AU provided the school with energy conservation campaign materials and related equipment. The initiative reflects AU’s commitment to environmental education, community engagement, and empowering young people to become responsible stewards of the environment.
