AU Strengthens Strategic Academic Partnership with SWUFE in China

A senior delegation from Assumption University of Thailand (AU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Jittawiriyanukoon, Vice President for Research and Academic Services, recently visited Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Chengdu, China, to strengthen long-standing academic ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

During the visit, AU and SWUFE discussed expanding cooperation in research, academic services, and student and faculty exchanges. Leaders from both institutions also exchanged perspectives on global higher-education trends and explored opportunities to develop cross-cultural and interdisciplinary talent.

The discussions resulted in a shared commitment to establish closer communication mechanisms and identify new areas of cooperation. The visit further strengthened the foundation for Sino–Thai academic collaboration and reinforced AU’s commitment to building high-quality international partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.
