The Future Food Innovation Junior Competition 2025 was successfully held on October 17, 2025, at the Salle d’Expo, Hua Mak Campus, Assumption University of Thailand (AU). Organized by the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation, the competition brought together 43 finalist teams from across Thailand to present innovative “Future Food” products to a panel of academic and industry experts.
The competition challenged young innovators to develop creative, sustainable, and market-ready food products that respond to global challenges. Projects were evaluated based on innovation, sustainability, presentation, and commercial potential. The event concluded with an awards ceremony presided over by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, celebrating the students’ creativity and commitment to sustainable food innovation.
The competition also supports Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model, encouraging young people to transform scientific knowledge and creativity into innovative solutions that can contribute to a more sustainable food system and future.
