AU Strengthens Sports Services through Volleyball Officiating Training

The Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, under Student Affairs at Assumption University of Thailand (AU), strengthened its readiness for the 2026 academic year through an in-house training program on volleyball officiating. The program aimed to enhance staff skills, improve sports event management, and support quality athletic activities for AU students and staff.

The training featured Mr. Jirasak Pumduang, an international volleyball referee from the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, as guest speaker. Drawing on his international officiating experience, he shared practical knowledge, techniques, and professional standards for volleyball competition management.

The program was presided over by Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Yutthana Suwannatarn, Vice President for Student Affairs, who encouraged participants to continue developing their professional skills and service capabilities. Participants received certificates upon completion, recognizing their commitment to strengthening the quality of sports services at AU.

The initiative reflects AU’s commitment to continuous professional development and the provision of well-organized sports activities that contribute to an active, healthy, and engaging campus environment.
