The Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), hosted a “Coffee Cupping Test” course on September 8, 2025, at the Hua Mak Campus.
The session was led by Mr. Nateepat Pitinidhipat, AU alumnus and Co-Founder of Van Hart Coffee, who introduced students to professional coffee tasting and evaluation techniques. Through hands-on practice, students learned how to assess differences in aroma, flavor, and body, while gaining an understanding of international coffee cupping standards used in the industry.
The workshop demonstrated AU’s commitment to applied learning and industry engagement, connecting food science knowledge with practical business applications and inspiring students to pursue innovation in the food and beverage sector.
