MG Skill Contest 2025 Highlights Automotive Excellence at AU’s Flagship Training Center

On December 14, 2025, the Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology (VMES), Assumption University of Thailand (AU), hosted the regional round of the MG Skill Contest 2025 at the Gabriel Mary Research and Learning Center for New Energy Vehicle Technology, Suvarnabhumi Campus.

As the home of the world’s first MG Flagship Showroom and Training Center, AU provided a unique platform for MG Sales (Thailand) to showcase professional skills and service excellence across Thailand’s growing electric-vehicle (EV) industry. Participants competed in practical challenges covering technical diagnostics, customer service, sales, warranty, parts, and body and paint operations.

The event brought together MG executives, AU representatives, and industry partners, highlighting the strong collaboration between AU, MG, and SAIC in developing skilled professionals for the future of electric mobility. The competition also demonstrated the important role of university–industry partnerships in connecting education, technology, and real-world professional training.
