The St. Luke School of Medicine is developing an International Doctor of Medicine programme, supported by an MOU with the Ministry of Public Health on medical education, research and institutional support.

Beyond the classroom, AU works with hospitals, government agencies, schools and international institutions through 15 MOUs in health and welfare. These partnerships support clinical training and community programmes such as free health screening and flu vaccination, first aid training for teachers, and medical volunteering in remote communities. On campus, the University provides sexual and reproductive health counselling, mental health counselling and screening for new students, annual medical check-ups for staff, a smoke-free policy, and food-safety certification for campus vendors.
